UCLA Commemoration – Monday, November 18, 2019

Rev. Nelson and Joyce Johnson will reflect on lessons learned from the Greensboro Massacre as well as the continuing struggle for racial and economic justice. This event is co-sponsored by the UCLA History Department, Institute for Research on Labor and Employment, and Labor Center. Event will take place from 2 – 3:50pm in Rolfe Hall 1200.

Durham, NC Fundraiser – Saturday, October 12, 2019

Northampton, Massachusetts – Sunday October 6, 2019

The public was invited to the following two events entitled Greensboro Massacre: Lessons for Confronting White Supremacy Today:

  • 10:00 am – Rev. Nelson Johnson preached at Jonathan Edwards Church at 297 Main St, Northampton, MA 01060.
  • 2:00 pm  – A public forum featuring Rev. Nelson and Joyce Johnson and Dr. Marty Nathan at Edwards Church at 297 Main St., Northampton.

People’s Forum NYC – Saturday, September 28, 2019, 4 pm

Survivors of the Greensboro Massacre Rev. Nelson Johnson, Joyce Johnson, and Paul Bermanzohn reflected on the forty-year anniversary and the current confrontations with fascism and white nationalism.
